Well down to 12 teams. Thanks. We will keep recruiting and if you join great. But let’s us know when you’ve got it down to 4 or 2 huh. Love social media

player, but it seems to me, unless you are just on a Swag Scavenger Hunt, why come out with a list with that many schools on it?

I would bet that most of these kids have already narrowed their ACTUAL consideration list to no more than three schools from the get go, regardless of public comments. Or, since they get up to five official visits, a list of five schools would make some kind of logical sense. More than that is just a waste of ink.

Here's what you have to love:

He's 6'0, 175 pounds, which probably means he's fast

Our lone commit for 2023 is a 5'8, 170 pound speed threat as well

It's as if our coaches are learning that you can't have all 6'4 WRs on the field at the same time and expect the offense to be successful. I feel bad for DJ at this point. Our coaches failed to surround him with weapons at WR.

It appears that you're right LeonTrotsky®, as far as Clemson recognizing the need to have more than 1 or 2 slot receivers on the roster.

What'd we have this last year ... T.Stellato (not ready), B.Spector (sick / injured), W.Taylor (not ready to play WR / then got torn ACL). Then we were down to quasi-walk ons (W.Brown / W.Swinney / D.Swinney).

For 2022, we'll have several slot receivers ... T.Stellato (hope he'll be ready!), B.Spector (hope he'll be healthy!), W.Taylor (hope he's recovered by then), Antonio Williams (love it if he's ready to rock!).

Going for at least one 'new' slot receiver in each recruiting class (for the next 2 years) seems like a good number for us.

Ironically, we can use some more of the 'basketball player on grass' type WRs very soon. For 2022, we've got J.Ngata (SR), B.Collins & D.Collins (both SO ... and hopefully will be over their dropsies), EJ Williams (JR ... hopefully fully healthy), and Adam Randall (if he's not ready in 2022, then maybe we won't have to rush him). At least one will likely move on after 2022 (Ngata), and who knows which one(s) might go portal on us. We need more of the down-field threat types (T.Higgins / S.Watkins / D.Hopkins / M.Williams) guys who can CATCH THE BALL.

Smaller, faster type WRs that are excellent route runners appears to be the direction football is going. Klubnik, with his accuracy, will thrive with those type of WRs.
