Impressive young man. Looking forward to him becoming a team leader as well as a productive player.

Good to hear--but as someone who tore an ACL in my mid 20s I can say that there is definitely a noticeable difference in being confident enough to trust your knee with and without a brace on during lateral movements and dynamic jumping. It will be interesting to see if he wears the brace during games, as it will undoubtedly limit his speed and mobility

Didn't Amari wear a brace the 1st season

You also were not a world class athlete, so that makes a huge difference. Their bodies have far more muscle than yours, God given better joints and ligaments, similar to myself. Comparing your injury would be apples to oranges.

Directionally you're correct, but it isn't apples to oranges. Will Taylor is faster and shiftier than me, but I've seen his lifting numbers. I'm like 30 lbs heavier than him, so I do have more muscle. Pound for pound he's definitely stronger than I was back then. But he isn't some muscle bound freak like Saquon Barkley. He's just Renfrow with about 10-15 more lbs of muscle

That "quick twitch" is what I hope he didn't lose. He was

one of those guys who could fake you out of your shoes from two feet away. We only got to see glimpses of it before he went down with the injury.

He was a first round MLB pick. I hope nothing changed with his injury.

He was projected as a possible 1st round pick but actually got drafted way deeper than people expected. I believe he made the right choice by coming to Clemson. He will be a much stronger athlete mentally and physically leaving tiger town. Good luck to him, he has the tools to be a fantastic slot receiver and we could use a couple. GO TIGERS!!

He got drafted later in the MLB draft because he was pretty vocal about playing football
