I thought DJ had his best game night and while he is not a Cunningham (not many are), the running helped. I certainly don't know the plays that are called but I still see np check downs to a back or what would appear to be changes at the line. The backs just may be needed to help with blocking but slip one out every now and then and maybe it will slow down the rushers. DJ is young and seems to be learning and growing.

The offense didn’t score 30 against FSU. We expect the poor grammar and editing, at least try to be accurate in your reporting.

The defense scored 6 against FSU. Reporting is accurate.

"The 30 points matched the most points the offense has scored against an FBS opponent this season (30 against FSU)."

Unless you are going to count the 6 points that were scored on the strip 6, the offense only scored 24 against FSU.

How does someone make that error. Dang it didnt he watch the FSU game. Offense scored 24 points not 30. Defense gave us 6. It is frustrating when facts are incorrectly reported by those who are paid to report.

That said I thought DJU looked his best last night. OL had issues. And I get it if Dabo says we are in running territory the last possession but maybe try something other than up the middle. I truthfully feel like we are reliving the Danny Ford days on offense.

Putting TP in at QB on 3rd down the last drive. Really did anyone think he was not going to run. Louisville could have put all 11 in the box and TP still would have run. Just sad play calling.

Tony gets 2 1/2 MILLION DOLLARS a year ...Dabo gets over 9 MILLION dollars a year...
D.J. for whatever reason is not an FBS quarterback...But, Tony and Dabo try to make
him out to be. Tony needs to go, DJ needs to be benched and Dabo needs to start
figuring out why he earns 9 million a year....I am sooo tired of these useless excuses..
The truth hurts...but there it is in living color!

Dear Pharm8438,

In what universe does your definition of "truth" exist?

Tony needs to go ... despite a big drop off in talent and with nearly endless injuries / illnesses on the O-Line (FSU was the one exception) and nearly endless drops / missed routes / no blocking from the WRs ... the offense has managed to improve. That improvement is a testament to both T.Elliott and the other offensive coaches.

DJ needs to be benched ... I guess you think you are the one to play QB. Certainly you don't mean any of the other QBs on the Clemson roster. Without DJ, Clemson wins two (2) games this year: SC State and UConn.

But I guess that's what you get for learning your football from watching "The View."

Dear Phamer
Please tell me,
How many years of middle school football did play?
…of high school did you play?
What position did you play in college?
How many opponent’s games have you scouted? Watched? How many years back did you watch?
How many films, DVD’s, tapes, etc, have you broken down in terms of tendencies, percentages, strengthens, weaknesses, player profiles…
How many players have you sat with, stayed up with, prayed with, because there’s no daddy at home, no money, girlfriend is pregnant, an abusive father…
I just need to know so I can understand your criticisms of a bunch of folks doing all they can, within the rules, with the talent given.
Again just asking for clarification, Thank You.

With all due respect, Tony was bailed out by generational talent at QB. The issues you speak of are on the OC etc to get right before the season starts to compete. Tony Elliott is NOT a good play caller nor game planner. Great guy and I was hoping he would make some changes to the offense this year, but he did not.

There are simply NO excuses to be as bad as we have been. A step back is falling to the middle of the pack even 70th ranked. If we are here, we are probably a 1 loss team right now. To be sub one hundred for this program is a terminable offense. And honestly I think that this should be written into the head coaches and assistant coaches contract. That is, should a coordinator finish below a 100 D1 ranking that coordinator will be fired.
