All that knows just a little bit about HS players making the transition to college, know that the college game is pretty fast to them, and until the game slows down for them by learning the play book, and repetition. I believe that the game is still a little fast for DJ, and it showed with the jerky moves by DJ, and attempting to pull the ball back after he had committed to throwing it, and some of his passes were thrown to low like a baseball pitcher throw. He will get it together, and the more he plays, the slower the game will get for him, and when that happens, that is when his size running the ball will become a huge asset from behind center!!! Go Tigers!!!!

DJ needs the experience because at any time Trevor could get quarantined or hurt. Love that we can win @ a high level & grow our young guys along the way. The staff has always done a good job of this rather than Keeping our 1 string in & trying to throw 70+ points on a team that’s beaten early. Clemson does it the right way! The future is still bright!
