Yep, a little over the top for sure - Sorry to sound frustrated - but I like Dabo the straight shooter, not the bu11shitter. He’s an eternally optimistic guy, which I respect because I can be the complete opposite at times…
But this entire season has just proven to be too much smoke he’s trying too blow up peoples a$$es regarding our performance and improvement from game to game (a few plays from undefeated!). I get it - I don’t expect him to directly call out players and coaches, and I can respect that. Just don’t act like we’ve been steadily improving and patting guys on the back when we’ve fallen WELL short of where we should be, and I’ve seen vary marginal improvements from week to week - from the coaching staff and players.

Great improvement on D, despite injuries to critical players. Some improvement on O. esp. running game, now if all 3 rbs are playing, Mafah and Pace can alternate at rb with Shipley more at slot, where he was open every time. The run should be used more setting up the passing game.

What championship are we playing for exactly? I would be embarrassed referring to the last leg of our season this year as the "championship phase." That's cringeworthy, Dabo.

Did you even read the article? At the very least, the state championship. With some help, on November 20 we could be playing Wake Forest for the Division Championship. I know most of y’all have already given up but it is still possible.
Dabo has a process that he employs every season which includes his 5 stated goals and also divides the season up into phases. Any fan who has been listening fir the last 6-8 years knows this. Despite what all the armchair coaches on TNet say, he isn’t going to change his process because we have lost a few games this year. The process is part of the culture that brings great players to Clemson and has made this program the success it has become.

Right now I'd be extremely happy if we beat usuc and made our way to Charlotte.
I don't expect our Tigers will play for the ACC Championship but that would be a h e l l of an accomplishment after what has happened this year.
