How amazing would it be for Ngata to have an injury free year and show out?

I don’t want to hear anything about WRs or OLs. I’ll see it for myself in the fall.

Same. The past several years have taught me “He/They are really looking great” could mean All-American or bench warmer/transfer.

I TOTALLY agree. We absolutely know that with DJ, at least, looking 'sharp' in practice doesn't translate to the same acumen on the field in game situations. I'll believe a transformed DJ when I see it, but the likelihood of that happening is slim. The 'it' factor isn't there as evidenced by everything we saw from him - and didn't see, in 2021.

Agreed. Everything and everyone “looked great” last spring until the season started. Hopefully the passing offense can get it in gear with a balanced attack.
Go Tigers !!!

I still like hearing about it, but like you, I want to see it on the field, in games, this fall. I'm especially interested in seeing how the OL does, but I want to see all this improvement in D.J., as well. I'm looking forward to us being back at the elite level next year.

Why do you like hearing about it if it clearly means nothing? They could say someone is an AA, or they could say they are a bum, and none of it matters because Dabo is just trying to come up with something to say to the reporters

"Some things cleaned up" but back by summer workouts. I have seen this movie before. Meaning see him by game 7.

Stellato. Was hoping for big things from him by late season last year. Not a lot of excitement yet. Wonder if he's grasping the playbook better? now he's injured first practice. Kinda dissapointed given how much hype during his recruiting.

If I remember correctly we heard the same thing about DJ in Spring and Summer last year. Looking great, better than expected, really getting the system down..etc etc etc. I think thats why all the criticism was hurled his way when he couldn't hit the side of a barn with his passes. The expectations were high because of all the hype.

Last year, I was concerned about DJ during spring and summer practice because Dabo was NOT praising him much. In fact, after one late summer practice a week or so before facing UGA, I think someone phrased it this way: DJ "finally" had a great practice.
