Yes, and let's put the Tight Ends' back in a box and forget about they exist again! Seems they worked pretty well against Wake!

Pretty sure the TEs had two TDs and multiple other catches????

I think the term that Richardson is looking for is rat poison.***

Now if the D can find theirs again. I wonder if the team knows its okay to have both the offense and defense working at the same time!

But yeah, I hope they can see how valuable Allen and Stool are at the TE position...2 6'6" guys in the redzone is a problem for defenses.

If I remember correctly from the stats, our TEs had 3 TDs and almost 100 yards. Tough indeed to argue that success.
As far as the cornerbacks: they are young. They are getting the experience they need. And as much as it hurt to see the flags, if they hadn't pushed and pulled the WRs, several of those throw would have been points! So the lesser of 2 evils while they learn and until we get our older guys back?
Can't wait to go this weekend!

swagger(Confidence in your abilities)

Sep 26, 2022, 5:01 PM [ in reply to Re: TNET: Richardson says Clemson offense finding its swagger ]

If a player is out there 2nd guessing themselves it's not a good thing. I hear some of you don't like the term swagger; which is fine. But, whatever you want to call it - the players have to come with it. If not, nothing the coaches draw up will work.
Antonio Williams has unfathomable confidence in himself because he has that swagger! Sometimes a few bad breaks and maybe not starting can hurt a player's confidence.

Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence and Hunter Renfrow had that about them as well. They knew they prepared well and they stepped onto the field like: "you can't stop me"!

The offense needed a shot in the arm going back to last year's struggles. The Wake game could be a game we look back on fondly and say, "that's when it changed for the good"! I'm hoping so at least.

DJ did look like a QB that had confidence this past Saturday, and I was happy for him, and it was probably what he needed, but that O Line has got to keep the pocket from collapsing so fast and causing him have to move around bc, he isn't a good QB when he has to scramble!!!

Certainly don't mind swagger. Guys have to play like they're supposed to win each play. I really want to see Randall break out in career game. DJ still needs to release faster. Fake the WR screen with alignments and pump fake... Puppies will bite, then throw the naked slip screen to ship. But it's got to be done fast and DJ has to hit in stride. I digress.

Still don't like hearing coach use rat poison. Really don't. Like the conservative getting better, room to grow approach. Lbh, it was one game. About like peeps anointing Cade the starter after one TD drive.

I really dislike this type of copy so early in the season. Swagger is way overused.
