TNET: Radakovich says he's looking for a "return to normalcy" this football season

Radakovich says he's looking for a "return to normalcy" this football season

There are 130 days until Clemson opens the home portion of the 2021 football schedule with a game against in-state foe South Carolina State. The opponent might not engender a ton of excitement, but the fact that Death Valley might be full is cause enough to get out of the house and enjoy a day of football. Full Story »

My vote is 'No' to a COVID passport to attend games.

I will wear my mask if required, but my proof is that I have had COVID and my body made the antibodies. I didn't have to have them injected.

Plus, McMaster has stated previously that he is opposed to COVID passports. And, so far, the national government is saying, "not likely".

D-RAD, if I were still able to make those trips to DV, I wouldn't spend what it cost to be a fan in the stands to see our team destroy teams like a SC State type competition. When folks spend that kind of money to be there in the stands, it really should have some excitement in the game, and that will never be with what Dabo has built at Clemson. These aren't the days when a team like TCU or South Florida can get a win against our Tiger team....

Absolutely, if I'm going to put in 6 hours of driving time, plus the cost of going to be a fan in the stands, it has to be against one of our regularly scheduled ACC teams, or an out of conference game against a team with a strong heart beat. Money don't grow on any trees that I have, and I'm not about to waste any of my money on a game that our 3d, and 4th team guys can easily beat. If our most loyal fans in the stands people would stop going to those practice types games, they would stop scheduling them, and bring in team that would be a benefit to our team in preparing them for our schedule, and post season.

The SC State type games only puts a big payoff in their pockets, and they do nothing to help our team, and they're not exciting for the fans in the stands. The gains go to Clemson, and the practice teams, the losers are our players that gain nothing, and risk season ending injuries from playing those types of teams, and the fans that do the traveling, plus their cost for being loyal!!! Before those types of games will stop showing up on our schedule, the loyal fans in the stands will have to stop being all that loyal with wasting their time, and their money!!!
