After the Georgia game, this game was the one most of us circled as the toughest on the schedule.
Pittsburg has over 27 players that were on the roster from the 2018 ACC Championship game. I'm sure they've had this game posted for revenge, for a long time.
Add to the fact that while every team gets up to play our Tigers, right now, they smell blood in the water.
We're all hoping the light comes on for this offense. We have the talent, just needs these guys to start believing in themselves.
We need a BYOG effort!

+1 on the “BYOG effort”! Agree that we must play the best game yet, but I keep hoping a light will come on in our OL, and DJ has enough time and builds enough confidence to bring us out of this funk permanently. We’ll find out shortly.

I love the PP.
But, if I were picking an upset this week it wouldn't be Miami over NCSU. Miami is in complete disarray. They have lost their QB. All indications down here in FL is Diaz has lost the team as well. It seems far more likely that the team has quit on Diaz than it is they will rally around Manny and give a win one for the gipper effort.
I would be more inclined to say take NCSU and give the three points - lock of the week.

It doesn’t matter if NCST looses if our offense can’t score. It’s highly unlikely we win the rest of our games scoring 13.5 points a contest. Starting with Saturday. Pitts offense is scoring 49 points a game. If they score half against us we loose. This Saturday the offense has to put on their big boy pants and get physical.

I wish I could at least side with PP on the Pitt game, but I'm calling it AT BEST a coin toss that if DJ gets to flip the coin it will be called an incomplete and blamed on the Ref or TNET noise but god forbid Dabo and Elliott will say the flip proves DJ is improving!
The only person actually righteously mad during that 'Cuse game was Skalski. I just don't see DJ capable of rallying the receivers in underdog fashion. He can't seem to get the ball near enough often enough for good receptions to have the receivers believing in him having miraculously finding the 5-star talent he was recruited with and somehow the NIL contract caused him to lose 1.5pts off it.
I really hope they do bounce back, but seeing is believing and currently the miracle workers are on strike because they don't want to wear masks to keep their jobs.
I'll continue to support my Clemson Tigers... but don't ask me to have faith in any man except Jesus Christ!
