Satterfield is a very good coach. I didn’t realize he had not coached at Clemson. The red birds are a good team and IF they come into Death Valley ready to play, and I’m sure that they will, the Tigers are in for a fight. We really need a sellout crowd for this game. You owe it to our military alums to be at this game so .”come on down”.

Interesting!

Oo! I love these anonymous forecasts! I never can tell who is writing them from week to week but that's part of the fun, & I'm oddly excited for this weekend.
For example, we've never lost to Louisville, & we've never had a loss as bad as the one we had last week at Notre Dame (who I'm also oddly excited to see in Baltimore against their long-time rival, Navy), so nothing would surprise me less than a blowout win over the Cardinals before hosting a dreadfully bad Miami team next week. Can't wait!

One minor correction: Clemson has had losses as bad and worse than the ND loss last week. The WV game several years ago may have been the worse loss ever. And I feel sure I sat through some beatings in the mid 70s. Perspective.

No worries! I misspoke, but I agree with you & didn't mean to sound cynical (it was an accident, I promise, I am NOT that kind of fan in spite of how things have changed here in Clemson nation).
I think people talking about it that way this week must have crept into my brain more than I was prepared to accept, but still, I'm optimistic (which many people can't stand either so I just do me).

And FSU 51-14 in 2013...at home! That game was brutal to sit through.

You are right, in 1975 while I was a student at Clemson we got beat by Alabama 56-0. So that was another one in addition to that terrible loss to WVA in 2011.

I had a dream a couple weeks ago that we lost to Notre Dame and Louisville back to back. I don’t put much stock in dreams, but…

I had a similar premonition in the spring. Mine in included having a QB that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a bass fiddle. our coaching staff would stand by him no matter what and leading to wasting another year of eligibility for a stud running back that has all the potential in the world.
