Not sure why the ? by Manziel's name as if that was a knock. He compared him to a "young" Manziel which means he was comparing him to a Heisman Trophy winner. The guy scrambled all over the field and made seemingly impossible plays. Not really a bad comparison at all as long as you exclude all of the off-the-field nonsense.

Had heroic feats but had erratic play too. Great college qb and I had no problem with him winning Heisman. But he was a cocky sob who was always in trouble. I think Cade will be more consistent with his play. So maybe that’s why the ?. But the player himself says that he ran around a lot and I think that portion of his comments is fair. Cade seems to move around a lot.

You may be right but after reading the quote, I believe the TN LB was comparing them as college players and not their personalities which is why I said I didn't see it as a bad comparison. Manziel's Soph. year he threw for 4100 yards and 37 TDs. If Cade replicates that his Soph. year I think we will be happy.

Typical nonsense by people that don’t know. Manziekmwas in trouble with the law more than once in high school. His dream school passed on him because of his complete lack of character. When he was redshirting, he and some other hooligans jumped a 50 year old black man and called him the N word repeatedly.
Manziel was always the same guy the world found out about later on. He was and is a piece of garbage.
He was always gifted and showed that at Kerrville Tivy, but he’s a low life off the field. Frankly, they are both quick and make plays on the run and slightly undersized, but that’s where the comparisons should end. From all accounts, Klubnik is a good kid which explains why he wanted to play for Dabo at Clemson. He doesn’t go to Clemson with Bowden still there.

I'm sure the comment was not meant to take anything away from Klubnik. I can see the on-the-field comparison. If he's a Crimson Tide killer with no off-the-field baggage, that suits me just fine.
I think he's the kind of guy that people will one day say, "You know, that new freshman reminds of the legendary Cade Klubnik..."

E V E R Y B O D Y, everybody has seen and knows what Cade brings to the game with what little they seen him, and yet not a coach on our offense, or our defense had a clue about how talented he is. Does this mean that our entire coaching staff was having brain farts when DJ was stinking up DV on November, 26 while they set back and got us beat by the coots and shutting down all most everything the team still had in front of them up until the 4th Quarter ended, and the only sighting of Cade Klubnik was on the side lines, and most likely begging to get in and save the game, but apparently his pleas fell on deaf ears!!!
