Clawson is a great coach with a great attitude. He has recruited guys that were not in huge demand and then developed a lot of all conference players. His team will come into the game expecting to win and confident in their ability to score enough to beat most teams late. They will not worry or slack off or lose the can do attitude at any point in the game. I hope Clawson can stay at Wake a long time without beating Clemson. And,I will hope Wake beats everyone besides Clemson, then wins a nice bowl game against a team that goes into the game overconfident.

I don't think we have played well enough this year to have beaten Wake. This game at their place is huge for both teams. As a Clemson fan, it is hard for us to take Wake seriously and understand it will take a game everyone will be proud of to beat the Deacons. I think it is worth noting that Clawson is asking his team to just be themselves.

This will be a tougher coaching job for Clemson than for Wake. I hope our guys perform to the peak of their ability.

I think this amount of respect Wake has for Clemson
is as it should be. I am just glad it isn’t the other way
around. This IS basically all of the teams in the ACC’s
Super Bowl..But, it certainly hasn’t always been this way.
I was a student all 4 years with Red Parker.
