All teams are going to have some three stars - I become alarmed when unrated players "walk on" and then are given a scholarship. No sense beating that dead horse. As for the Tiger draft, of course there were two players taken. Georgia had 15 (5 in round one) while Alabama only had seven. Evan Neal from Bama was taken 7th. Notable in that Alabama has a 14 year streak of having at least one player taken in the first round. As for Mr. Spector, of course he should be congratulated and applauded. Very few of the thousands that play get their name called. An achievement to be sure. Now making the team and signing a contract will be a big step. Most 7th round picks do not make the roster but I certainly hope he does. If you want to compare the the number of players from UGA and Bama (all those four and five stars you know) taken in the draft then I think they compare pretty well to just about anyone. Next year will be different. The Tigers should have multiple first round picks (two I would hope) and several more that are selected. Are we backfilling with quality players of the same caliber that will go? Not sure, Murphy and Bresee are 5 star players while Tyler Davis was a 4. Couple other 5 stars will roll off the roster and likely be drafted which would be KJ Henry and Xavier Thomas. Stars don't mean anything until you notice that quite a few 4 and 5 star players end up being drafted. I'll enjoy next year and worry about the future when it arrives.

Thought at the time it would be career limiting and ended up that way for both. But props to Buffalo for really turning it around with QB PLAY. The great equalizer.

Hoping to see Spector make the squad or practice squad and earn a Super Bowl ring! Get it Baylon!
