Doesn't seem possible that camp's almost over. Great assessment. Tons of questions. What about Ladson Jr. Mickey Dukes still in the love shack. Was hoping to hear more about Capehart... Thinking he'd have a breakout year this season.

Heard great things about Ajou, where will EJ land on the depth chart. Hopefully with the offense, it just means the D IS that good.

I mean the D should be as good as advertised, but for the offense, we all know that we will see our best offence toward mid season after they have jelled as one unit. But if our D can keep opposing team points off the score board, we should be able to score enough points to win games with the elite position players that we have!!! I know that everybody is looking forward to TE play bc Tony E is coaching them, but it's my opinion is that this early in the season, our TE's will have to help to keep DJ standing up straight bc, a TE isn't any good if the QB is on his back!!!!

Yes, I think we know the deal and there is not much new here - no comparison between the defense DJU will face in three weeks and the two he faced last year. We haven't done too much apparently against our own D so I don't expect a lot against a comparable UGA defense. Doesn't matter which RB's are in there it is all on the OL so be able run a little and keeps the D honest so DJ can get off quick passes.
I think it would be in our favor if the game looks more like those of the late 70's and early 80's where 20 points were a rarity. Defense and minimal turnovers wins the game for us.

Only one scrimmage and as you know the defense is pretty much always ahead of the offense early. Lol, especially ours!
Hopefully this weeks scrimmage will balance things out a little more.

Other than the debacle in the Sugar Bowl, Our lowest point out put was 34. We scored over 40 eight times. I look back to our numbers back to 2014 and here is our scoring offense for each season.

2014. 30.8 ppg
2015. 38.5
2016. 39.2
2017. 33.3
2018. 44.3
2019. 43.9
2020. 43.9

We will put up points. IMO, we've never had dominant OL. We've had above average to "good" but never great.

I know he never would but it'd be all over national news if he said "we have to get geared up for the bulldogs because SC State is a formidable foe." Just totally dis jawja.

They maybe dis-ing the dogs, but it's being done to #### them off, and hopefully get their attention that Clemson won't be easy. 3/4 of the country don't want to see Clemson beat an SEC UGA team!!!

You might be surprised. 3/4 of the country probably can't stand the SEC.

The D looks solid, but the O is still a question. What concerns is that the opener is getting close and we are still trying to find a starting OL.

Not Mr. Hood, but it's some sort of injury.
