Sounds like a good family too. He'd fit right in. Get in the weight room and hopefully get a chance at 4 games this year. Wonder if we're looking at him as a corner.

I agree!
A good two-syllable first and last name to announce over the PA system after a big play.

You know, this wailing and lamenting and gnashing of teeth over the stars on Tnet is getting really old. Suppose that was your child that these remarks are being made about. How would you like to see the comments being made about him. Let’s keep those thoughts to ourselves and let thx coaches make the recruiting decisions. Our 10 wins/year streak shows that they know something about they are doing. Go Tigers.

100% doesn’t stop them from whining though it’s disrespectful to the players and coaches

The whining on so many 3 star recruits comes from more 4 & 5 star candidates in the past. Since these are the best we can get now, we’ll have to hope they can be developed. That has happened frequently in the past and that seems to be the coaches’ attitude also. We have a great coaching staff!

College coaches don't recruit the best players they can get to their school bc who the parent are, or how a message board sees or feels about the star quality of a recruit. My only hope is that our Clemson FB coaches are recruiting kids that they feel they can win with at the highest level, along with a personality that can be groomed into high character. Star ratings aren't everything in recruiting, but in most cases, the higher the star rating means that particular recruit has the talent, and abilities to be coached up to be a top player in the college ranks. It's an indicator, and it has worked out in more cases than not to be a pretty good indicator!!!! That is why there isn't that many 5 star rated players in every class, year in, and year out... It has more or less from year, to year....
