Thoughts on TE

I'm excited about our future at tight end! Davis Allen made more and more of an impact as the season went on -- and Briningstool is a budding star. I hope the new offensive coordinator plans to make the tight end an integral part of our offense; I expect that he/she will.

Related question: why is it that most tight ends are white dudes? Never figured that out.

Lamont Hall and Keith Jennings were all some of the best TE's in Clemson history although were some were grossly underutilized IMO.

And I was thinking you were talking about Tony Elliott.
As to your related question maybe white kids don't have the speed but have good hands so they bulk up and become a TE.
But here is something for you to ponder; Two of the best wide receivers ever in the game are white guys. However they are not speedsters.
The first is retired but he set the mold for those WR's with good hands who could catch the ball in traffic and get you the necessary yardage for a first down. The other is playing today and was a key cog in our 2016 National Championship. And both played for the Raiders.
The first was Fred Biletnikoff. You should know the 2nd.
