I was poking around Google Maps and found something that piqued my curiosity. In downtown Atlanta, adjacent to the Varsity, (around 664 Spring Street Northwest), when you zoom in pretty tight, there are what appears to a group of Tiger fans tailgating. I'm assuming it's Clemson fans - there are a bunch of orange and purple tents with white spotches that appear to be tiger paws on them.
My first thought was "ok, that's where Tigers tailgate for games at GT." But then when I look across the interstate at the stadium, there's definitely not a football game going on. Field's not painted, no one there, etc.
So Atlanta Tigers - is this a meshing of photos from two different dates or was there some other reason for the tailgate? For what it's worth, there doesn't appear to be a GT baseball game occuring either.
Anyone know? Inquiring minds (or at least this one) wants to know.
