My family has lived in Atlanta for 22 years and one of the things we like about living here is that it is a crossroads for college football teams. It is fun to talk to people from other programs and to listen to them brag when they win and grovel when they lose.
One of the things that is not fun is to live in Atlanta when everyone knows that you are a Clemson fan and for the Tigers to lose. Many of the fans from other schools are very poor winners and even worse losers.
Yesterday and today have been a lot of fun to be a Clemson fan. The Auburn people are not giving us any credit all the problems are related to their coaches. (Does that sound familiar?) Doesn't matter that Chizik won the National Championship two years ago, now he is a worthless coach. It is also fun to walk with a smile on your face but to not say a word about winning the game. They hate it when you do that. I always want to act like winning isn't new to us.
Yeh, I totally agree. I live in the Atlanta suburbs and it's amazing how many Auburn, Bama, and gamecock fans there are. Of course, Clemson fans outnumber them, but then we have to put up with GA fans everywhere. But it's still a great place to live for football, like you said, especially when we win!
