How well Goodwin recruits will take a couple of years of HS coaches, and their players seeing how well the defense is at Clemson compared to the defenses around college FB. That is what it took before BV started drawing big time defensive recruits to Clemson to be coached by BV, and it will be the same for Wes Goodwin, he will have to prove himself as a position coach, and as a DC!!!!
High School coaches would like to see their players going to the college that they went to, or the college they like the most. But when coaches knows one of their players aren't interested in their favorite, they will mention the schools that are doing really well with a recruits position, or, I think that's how it probably works in most cases bc, all coaches want to see their players doing good at what ever level they're moving on to....

as the lb position coach. As good as we were in the past on defense, it seems like every game we’d have plays where players were out of sync and looking to the sideline waiting to get the play call and the other team would already be snapping the ball with us out of position.
If this gets fixed and calls are in quicker and lined up and read to play at the snap then I’ll see this as a great indicator that everyone is on the same page and clicking.

changes to DL and changes to back 7 that Barrett refers to. Is that possible or are they wanting everything kept under wraps so it’s a surprise to opposing teams?
