....been here in the Bay Area since Thursday. Been sightseeing across town, biking the Golden Gate Bridge, eating at some nice restaurants, etc. Locals all around the area recognize the Paw.
Some very friendly people here in San Fran who want to know more about Clemson, Dabo, the freshman phenom at QB, etc. This in a place who doesn’t care that much about CFB. Almost all say “I’ll be pulling for the Tigers on Monday”
Pretty cool.
For all I read about that bad side of SF on here, let me just say there is a lot of good too.
A group of us went to a restaurant in downtown San Jose owned and run by 3 siblings. The food was fabulous and all three sibs came out to talk to us. One was a serious cfb fan who has season tickets to watch Stanford. They were friendly, wanted to talk about CU, said they were rooting for us. We gave them a $2 bill and explained the significance. As we left, many patrons in the bar sent us off with Go Tigers! The power of the paw, indeed!
