Roy Philpott has been filling in for Plyer the past couple of days. I think he does pretty good radio. Was he even considered for the Clemson play by play job or would he be considered in the future if/when Munson leaves?

Used to hear people complain about Jim Phillips till he died. Then he was the GOAT. It's a matter of perspective. Also it's a corporate world now. Old school, the coll/univ controlled its on-air product. Now it's outsourced. Much more $$$.

Phillips was when he said, "Touchdown gamecocks". I hated hearing that. Other than that, Jim Phillips was great to listen too!!!

Philpott is much better than Munson on the radio and its not close. Its the difference between a professional and talented amateur.

Philpot is good. Terrence O should be radio. Soon quick please if we can’t get him coaching! He would be great football too. Dan Scott on baseball, er softball - our premier spring sport -just kidding. Sort of

No brainer here. Phipott who is an ESPN play-by-by professional vs. Munson, a Dabo puppet who has no earthly idea of what is going on in front of him. Bring back Pete!
