people that don't know anything but how to get blog consumers to feed off of made up rumors and made up back room meetings. For some reason Clemson fans are buying it like it's for real.

I can't believe people are still thinking this is going to happen. By reading this board you would think we are packing up for next season. All the interviews with TDP and other folks have all been generic answers. It keeps going because it gets readers to visit websites watch espn(hype) and people make money off of sensationalism.I think Swofford will try to tweak a couple of things to enhance football but it's not bc of conference jumping it's because he needs football to get better so we're not losing so much money.

Clemson jumping to another conference would be something we would all like for the here and now but once the ACC got football back to competitive level we would all wish we had our local games to travel to and relive old rivalries in all of our sports. I guess it's good to put a little pressure on the ACC admins so they'll actually work but us going anywhere ain't actually going to happen IMO.

Another thing, we kind of look needy as a fan base too because I don't see the same quantity of discussion of moving from the other schools...we look like the kid that wants to belong with the cool crowd...and it ain't a good thing...so....let it go and have some pride about you. If they want us they'll come get us. IT's like we're faxing the humanitarian bowl committee to ask for permission to play inBOISE again...sickening to where our fans have sunk to since the Ford years.

moving your entire school, athletics, fanbase, history, etc. to another entire conference/region.

People like TDP and other officials aren't really talking this down because it is good for the football programs. This is putting pressure on the ACC and it can only help. But there is no intention of actually pulling the trigger and moving. The budgetary strain as far as traveling would take all of the money that we would gain away if not put us in a deeper hole.

WE have good teams in the ACC. At least traditionally. For whatever reason they have regressed in the last 10-15 years. But if they can put more emphasis and funding or whatever it takes toward football and get the FSU's Clemson's VT's GT's BC's Miami's to get back to being who their reputation says they are then this conference would be back at the top of the list.

So yes Swofford and the ACC have got to get their crap figured out and find the problem and fix it. However you do that. Adding teams, re-assessing funds, changing comissioners (won't happen either). But folks a Big 12 move won't happen..for us. I could see FSU and Notre Dame going but thats because they're marquee names. But Clemson is an ACC school and will be there.
