Gotta give credit to Dabo for the way he handled this.

I can't find the post, it was some time ago (a month or better), but I said I felt Dabo would ultimately do what needed to be done. I admit I didn't see this coming, but he waited until the season was over, didn't throw anybody under the bus, and pulled the trigger. Big-Time hire. And it sounds like Jeff Scott is coming back too. Dabo is not perfect, but it was no fluke that built this program and won two National Championships.

he and Street are close. But Dabo is an elite manager, and he wants to be the best. He saw the changes that needed to happen and addressed them, and if he sees future issues he will do the same. Including the portal when he deems it right. But his philosophy in how he does things is going to remain grounded in who he is. He will give people opportunities. He will have your back. He will continue to focus on people first

all coaches he's let go. It really is like family for Dabo, but he knows it's a business, a business contingent upon winning, and he does what he has to do.
