For sure I believe that I'm mature enough not to have any ill will towards Monte Lee for landing himself a job with the coots. The man has a family that he has to support, and he had to have a job after being let go at Clemson, and the coots was probably the best job offer, and he accepted. I say good luck to him, I just hope we beat them down when we play them!!!

Monte focused on his new thing

Monte showing why Clemson hired him in the first place, all business with humility to work where he is planted.
I hate it that he wasn’t more successful at Clemson.
I believe it was to big of a step for him at that time, 4-5 years from now he will be a much better coach.
Challenging situations bring out a driving force to become wiser & more mature at what we do.
Monte will grow from it because he has the right attitude.
I wish him the best but look forward to beating the coots every time we play!

I'll never forget Monte Lee taking the time to speak to my little girl before a game against a Top 10 opponent. He was walking by us and she said "Hey Clemson coach!" and he stopped and humored her for a minute. Wish him the best.

Always classy and a very likable guy. Seems if he would've won the regional against Vandy or OSU his tenure may have gone differently. The postseason is where it's at. Excited about Bakich taking the reins there.

We didn’t reach our goals with you but you always represented Clemson very well. I was proud to say that you represented Clemson while you were with us.
The only reason I can’t wish you well is that you now Coach at Usuc. I don’t blame you for taking that job just still hope you lose every game.

Well put by him. I was ready for him to move on, but have no ill will. I don't believe for a moment that he didn't do the best he could to succeed, just didn't have it. Maybe he will end up a coot head coach, don't care. As long as no more transfers there happen I'm good as it would appear an awful lot like tampering at that point. Go Tigers!

You’re not blessed to be at u of sc. That’s a curse and just about any other college in the nation is better to be at. Most of there fans are terrible and have unrealistic expectations for there sports. The college is spread throughout the city and the city is ####. Ray Tanner has confirmed he has no clue how to run an athletics department at the college level. I can’t wish you good luck since you work for them now but I will say I hope you’re happy.
