The easiest solution to the ACC TV money issue is…

to divide all of the TV money as follows:

ACC Football Champion: 40%
ACC Football runner up: 20%
ACC Football highest rank outside of those above: 12%
ACC Football all other: 2.5%
Bowl/CFP money is not divided amongst other teams in the conference.

This would encourage teams that normally don’t compete well in football to improve, and reward those who do by giving them a real incentive to make even more than the SEC and B1G schools. And If schools don’t care about football, they’ll still make enough to cover some of the lesser sports they do enjoy dabbling in.

This plan has no flaws that I can find.
