A HC has very little or no say in a conference move. So TDP and the BOT, do deflect attention from a move and shore up this year's recruiting, asked Swinney to make that statement. Let's say that in several months the B12 asks us to come on board. Dabo can graciously wiggle out of all blame. Remember, he said he would play wherever, even in Japan. Therefore, he loses very little if any credibility and can sell this years crop of recruits on the move AFTER they have committed. Vulpine. If true.

It would be more likely next year then.

If its for recruiting reasons, which is a weak argument, then we'd wait till after Feb.

Plus, don't we have until the end of July to announce leaving the ACC?
