He's already a fan favorite in Minnesota. I see a lot of people on social media saying how much of steal he was in the 7th round. Let's be frank, even if you did question his effort at the end of his college career, on potential alone he had no business being drafted that low. Apparently a lot of these NFL scouts don't have a clue.

He didnt playbawful last year. He played awesome at times and was huge.

I don't think we would have been in that playoff without him. He had some great games thebfirst half amd some bad games later. That doesnt mean the effort wasnt there. I think he will go down as the most disrespected player in Clemson history. I appreciate all he did though and hate to see so many negative comments about such a good Clemson person.

He didn't play as well the second half of his senior year as he did his junior and first half senior years. That's a fact. Somehow this idea that he shut it down to help his NFL stock has become fact around here when nobody really knows the truth. I'd bet that this Clemson man that keeps getting bashed was actually playing with some kind of injury. You just don't stop playing hard on a team going for a national championship and that. certainly isn't going to help your draft status. Really if it was as bad as everybody makes it out to be the coaches would have benched him.

I called Martavis Bryant the "steal of the draft" when he was drafted (didn't know he would do the drugs though), and I think Kearse is this year's steal. If he's not, then Alexander surely is. Anyway, some teams got lucky when they got those 2 guys IMO.
