I think you might be right.
In addition to losing guys on first string D, UGA also lost guys on second string D. I know they have recruited really well, but they gonna have some young pups on D, especially the depth on D.

And lest we forget Oregon handled O310 last year early. It really won't matter for UGA as they then just have to run the table and then win the SEC, but for Oregon it is a MUST win.

Utah drubbed em' twice last year and that's the closest thing to a Georgia they've seen. You could guess that Oregon's new coach knows the Georgia team well and it will pay dividends but I'd just stay away.

I agree. The biggest problem is a West Coast team traveling East to play a game on the time difference.

Interested in seeing game. But believe UGA 2nd stringers may be better than Oregon starters. We'll see what happens.

It is reasonable to say that Lanning knows a lot more about the dawgs than the dawgs know about Oregon.
But we’ve all seen that kind of logic fall apart in the past with other matchups.

Ga has definitely lost a lot and sometimes starts out slow but absolutely no nothing about Oregon so not sure which way to go on this one but -16.5 is a lot.

I really want to say that UGA wont cover, but i can see them maintaining around a 10 pt lead in the 2nd half, and scoring a late TD to win by 17. Plus with the way that Oregon moves the ball around on Offense, and it being Week 1, they are ripe for a UGA scoop-n-score, or a Pick 6.
