Gut is he and CDS had a conversation sometime before the season - if TL is going to earn the starting job, let me know before I use up a year type of thing. Now he is trying to make up his mind, in the meantime Brice needs reps big time if KB is not coming back.
Love what KB did for us, but he is a KB first guy, nothing wrong with that at all. He needs to do what he thinks gives him a shot at the next level. As I said in another post, he did this in HS - started as a freshman at a GT type offense - knew he would rarely throw the ball, moved to Wren. This worked out for him, otherwise Clemson probably would not have given him an offer.
I wish him well, but think he is gone.

For real though, would be nice to have a backup with his experience. If he doesn’t want to fill that role, well... so be it.
Everyone watching our games can see that Trevor is the truth, sucks Bryant can’t be a man about it. Injuries can always happen, I mean just look at Cole Stoudt back in Deshauns freshman year.

1) It's a 5 hour drive to Clemson from Raleigh
2) I doubt he would even be allowed to the Clemson practices
3) He couldn't make it to all of his classes at NC State if he had to make that drive every day, but if he did......I would recommend filling up his gas tank in SC b/c the taxes in NC are a little bit higher.
