But I've never seen a team as successful as ours with a fanbase as negative as ours. Just remember the days we longed for 10 wine and am ACC title. Everything else should be enjoyed, too many worried about the downfall.
Sorry, but tired of logging in and seeing nothing but pessimistic posts. This is the best time to be a tiger in my lifetime. Appreciate greatness. 10 wins is a bad year for Clemson, not a wish anymore.

There is an unusual number of “Clemson fans” on Tigernet who really enjoying sharing their immense knowledge of college football. Fans like that should concern us but for some reason I personally feel very comfortable allowing our excellent, and well paid coaches, to decide what is best for the Tiger teams. Probably 98 per cent of these experts have never had on a pair of pads Much less played the game! Clemson certainly does not deserve some these “ FANS”!

"10 wins is a bad season" needs some context. Clemson won 10 games in a down ACC and only beat 1 ranked team all season.
Additionally, this was not just a slight step backwards (like 2017 vs 2016), this was a complete freefall that only became obvious in hindsight. Sorry but when everyone on this message board is predicting another CFP appearance pre-season, this season was a massive dissappointment.
Couple that with losing Venables and having a weak 2022 class, the next few years are going to be a challenge and will be much closer in success to 2011-2014 than 2015-2020

2022 will be great year. The defense should be one of the best in school history. The offense has obvious questions that we have to trust the coaches to correct. If the 2023 recruiting class is not top notch it will be reason for concern.

What is needed is honesty, objectivity and realism not whining and blaming. Some people just refuse to admit that losing happens and since once again there was not an undefeated Champion it should be obvious. Guess we can just blame Trump for that.

It's too late for haters of Clemson Football!
They are doomed.
Those trophies have been won on the football field and it's nothing they can do about it now!
They can doom and gloom the program all they want but the fact is: "Clemson is a powerhouse and will be as long as all those people who saw Bama get beaten twice are around"! Much like all the ghost of Notre Dame's past. Michigan too! Penn State hasn't won one since 1986; but all the broadcasters remember the Nittany Lions being "The Team"! Same thing with Miami Hurricanes who last won one in 2001. They keep talking up; "The Canes"! Who finally have a good coach; I must say. Point being - To forget the negative post and enjoy the ride.
It's a ride so very few college football fans "WILL EVER" experience it! And basically, the haters can't stand it.

I tend to agree with your post.
To put it into context for example: "someone my age (late 40's) who likes Northwestern, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, SCAR, Kentucky, Boise St, and a bunch of other schools have "NEVER" seen their team win a National Championship in college football"!
Some people will have lived and died never having seen it - if you're old enough you have seen all 3. If not, you have seen Two!
A bunch to be thankful for as you said! I agree 100% no natty this year; no sweat! I just keep it in the right perspective! Frame it right and "it's not the end of the world"!
Haters like the poster here saying it will be more like 2011 to 2014 while it's possible they could be right; really have no place on TNET! As you said, "it's negative and if you want to be negative there are better places"! Unless this is the only way to "get a Clemson supporter"! This is what I suspect many of the negative posts are about.
Fans from other schools want naive and easily discouraged fans to be as miserable as them.
Don't allow that!

Thank you for your reply. I don't necessarily think negative talk is a bad thing for a program in decline. I just think we are competing at the highest level going forward with a lot of unwarranted negativity.

These fan sites are for the fanatics (on both ends of the spectrum) pretty sure they don’t represent the fan base as a whole in the least
