Much like us with NC State, they seem to always be a bad matchup for us.

Clemson beat UVa in Charlottesville 67-50.

That said, UVa leads the all time series 81-52 (.609). They have won 12 of the last 13 meetings and 14 of the last 17 meetings.

Ball handlers need to be ready tonight. UVA put a lot of pressure on the ball and denied the easy/casual passes our guys prefer. It’s going to take discipline and attention to get as many possessions as we need to outscore them around 65-68 range.

This is a massive game for us though so hopefully the team will be up to the challenge this time. I still don't feel like we are safely in.

They usually have better players so UVA had the advantage. I think this years the talent gap is alot closer. If we can play our game and not lose our mind and start bomb long 3s. I think we can get the win.

We always get outcoached! Gotta beat their hovering defense around our perimeter shooters and have to win the inside game at the basket on both offense and defense! Cannot let them control the pace of the game! And oh yes, limit our turnovers which always lead to easy baskets for them on the break! That usually always costs us the game against them in the end!
