How do we all feel about Firehouse Subs?

I love them and might grab one today as they are right by my doc appointment.
I always grab the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar, no mayo

I've maybe had 3 in the past year. I like the smokehouse beef and cheddar with out mayo plus jalapenos. I also like the meatball.

but you are correct, both are expensive.
I tell the wife and daughter that they have to eat what I eat and we split a giant. I don't think that's ever worked for me though. Wife-of only wants ham and cheese and I'm not eating that crap sandwich at Jersey Mike's.

In order to be a top-5 sandwich, it needs to be heated. Firehouse's method of heating is sub-par, but it's the best available at scale.
Jersey Mike's is good, and I go there somewhat regularly, but their hot subs are only the cheesesteak style - which are still dope - so that limits their superiority IMO.
Also - protip on svaing money. Order online for pick up at Firehouse, then just snag a bag of chips and a drink for free. Been doing this for 3-4 years now without a single issue.
