this weekend. That would be a huge outburst by our offense this season obviously. Can we hit this number?

Hello SurroundedTiger, I think that the glacier will finally melt and the offense will score in the high 20's to mid-30's against Pitt.

This guess is predicated on the OL getting continued good play from the T's and the G's, and then either getting Hunter Rayburn back at Center or (gulp!) giving Bockhorst another crack at C. I think that the play at G can be good enough with the rotation at LG being M.Tate / P.Tchio and RG being manned by a healthy W.Putnam.

Without better play at C position (they man which played against Syracuse tried hard and seemed pretty good overall on snaps [except for the one that he sailed over DJ's head for a big loss], but was beat like a rented mule by the Syracuse DTs), then it won't matter and we'll again be lucky to score in the teens.

Of course, the WR's not named J.Ross and J.Ngata cannot revert back to their pre-Syracuse game butter-fingered ways for the offense to succeed.

I agree. I hope we can avoid turnovers as well. That is what saved us the last two games. If Venables had not gotten that pick off early. I think the game may have unfolded very differently

That wasn't enough for Tennessee when they lost to Pitt and their offense is much better than ours.

That’s what everyone is missing in this match up, yes Pitt has bulldozed teams. But they have yet to play a defense of our caliber, I think people focusing on our offensive woes are doing our defense a HGE disservice, the only team in college football that is close to our defense is Georgia

I think we score at least 35 this week, DJ is getting the ball to the receivers finally just had some big drops. The WR is going to get it together and break out
