Think Putnam gets pushed for playing time by the youngsters?

C and RG got whooped last year.

If Rayburn is an upgrade at C, that will help Putnam. But he needs to improve individually from what we saw last year.

You could see McFadden moved to RG with Parks at LT and Tate at RT.

The staff needs to get the best 5 on the field.

No, I think if anything Putnam secured his position on the depth chart. I was definitely impressed by Tchio and Linthicum, though.

Let's hope they are all pushed. The younger players are more talented and less experienced. The buck stops with Dabo, and he will have to make a decision some time in the season. He made the right decision with TL16, and Clemson was fitted for natl championship rings 5 months later.

McFadden is not moving inside. You can forget that. They moved him to LT for a reason because obviously he is the best lineman we have. Just goes to show you that stars isn't always the end all be all. Now with that said I would always take the stars but sometimes you have to give it to the coaches for great evals like McFadden bc he was almost not a take and a former VT commit. I can't remember who we missed on but it was that miss that got McFadden to Tiger Town.

Rayburn imo will be the biggest upgrade from last year... Think he'll absolutely ball out at center. I'm more concerned about the QB position than any position on offense. Absent a stud backup, we may have to limit the rpo kinda like the ND game when Trevor wasn't available.
