Could Monkeys Have Written The 23rd Psalm?

Jan 31, 2013, 3:13 PM

This is a pretty "deep" article covering the probabibility of evolution vs. creationism. The first link is to the article and the second link is to comments re. the article.

No.

I've never met a monkey that could write well.

Their stories are generally simplistic and lacking artifice.

The plot usually revolves around feces flinging.***

Who created God? Where did he come from?

Jan 31, 2013, 3:24 PM

Doesn't the article then disprove the existence God as well?

It kind of sounds like you're putting an idol in place of God in order to blaspheme.

Come now.

Feb 4, 2013, 8:22 AM

I know you're about to venture into some metaphysical tangent about the nature of God, but the ideas of the supernatural and the eternal are definitely comforting to billions.

A Darwinist vs an Abolitionist, imagine that.

Jan 31, 2013, 3:38 PM

What never comes out in this debate is that Darwin reached the conclusion that the White man was the superior race based on his studies. Not that I agree with him, but I wonder why that's always left out?

I would respect Christianity a lot more if they would just drop the whole creationism aspect of it and embrace science.

I have heard some of these people could debate for hours that dinosaurs fossils are a trick god played on scientists to test their faith.

Well so far you have articles by a liar on his credentials pharmacist, a chemist who was so bad he quit to become a manufacturing plant manager, a botanist trying to discuss primate genetics, and a guy with his Doctorate from a correspondence school closed for giving degrees without accreditation in 1999. You are 0 for 4 so far.

...I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent.
