I’m at a loss for coherent words so I’m just venting…however, 4th and 1 on their 34 yard line and they have the guts to throw over the top on us… says it all. Our playcalling was trash but what can you do when you have a 6’6 TE in 1:1 with CB and you just need to give him a chance but instead you launch it over his head right into the hands of the other team. You would think DJ had a bet on this game with that sh!t. Then you reflect and wonder how is it possible for home to overthrow on that play when he previously throws 2 back shoulder throws for incompletions while the wideout is just running down the field resulting in a wasted play. 1st down? Let’s just run Shipley up the middle, he’s been scorching USC on the perimeter so maybe that will get them? NO. Multiple drops. Multiple fumbles. I don’t believe in DJ, he wasn’t the complete reason for us losing. I would maybe try him at punter. I also don’t believe in this offensive scheme. Play to win offense or give someone else a chance. Let’s just start Cade and move on from this nonsense.
