What a game to be at on cool and perfect night for football - from groaning at times as TBoyd grew up a lot to what Sammy did to keep us in and finally win the game for us in a rare defense optional game for us! We were the visitors but we owned the stadium as well!

Every time I see the replays of Sammy while at Clemson, it reminds me of why Nuk was so angry with the coaches. Nuk was an elite talent also, but Sammy had the speed that Nuk couldn't touch, and that took away a lot of targets that Nuk would have gotten if it wasn't for Sammy's elite talent with elite speed. And Nuk didn't won't to hear that bc he knew he was an elite talent that deserved an equal amount of targets. Elite talent with elite speed in college FB will get more targets every game!!!

but I'll go to my grave believing that Nuk was the better Clemson receiver. Speed isn't everything, and Nuk had everything else to go along with very good speed. He had the best, impossible to cover, Biletnikoff-deserving single season in Clemson history in 2012 and the differences in their NFL careers speak for themselves. How many fast Combine guys never do anything in the league? Not saying Sammy hasn't done anything, but Nuk has made going to Pro Bowls with different teams and bad QBs look easy his whole career.

like it since. CJ had a couple games that compare, but nothing since Sammy at Maryland. It was unbelievable. He just would not let Maryland beat us.
