TIL Tramadol < Toradol

Also learned lidocaine injection hurts more than sinking an exacto knife in your skin. Then I learned there was an NFL scandal where players were given toradol before games.
You can play on a broken leg with that stuff. You can also drive while using it. Zero wooziness.

Wasn't lidocaine invented in the early 1940s?
I wonder if the Nazi's supplemented their soldiers' 'Nazi Marching Powder' regimen with lidocaine?

Unless you take about 4 tramadol at once. Get that red face, and flush feeling. Not my buzz, but a buzz nonetheless

It's not the be all end all, but Toradol can often help with pain relief a lot. A little Acetaminophen combined with the Toradol can be even more effective. If your doc gave you Toradol pills, use them only as directed and only as necessary.
Toradol can whack your kidneys and gut, so be careful.
Hope you feel better soon!

Taking 1 Tylenol with it and that helps.

neck that was sending non-stop lightning across my shoulder blade and down my arm. My pinched nerve simply laughed at the Toradol because it did nothing to relieve the constant nerve pain. In fairness to Toradol - the pinched nerve also laughed at the hydrocodone the Doc threw at it as well. That pinched nerve didn't get better until some really high doses of prednisone got built up into my system that had me bouncing off the walls...

Told my wife yesterday I had more women touch my junk than have ever touched it since we got married. She laughed.

It's mainly the pain, it's bad. Begged the lady to not give me the lidocaine as I knew that would hurt more than lancing it. She said she had to. And sure enough the lidocaine made me see white. Then she immediately cut it and I told her I didn't feel anything. I told her if it feels like someone's stabbing you with a knife to begin with, it's not going to hurt any more if someone actually stabs you with a knife.
Anyway, it's going to take some time to heal, and they put my on two antibiotics and gave me a horse shot of something. Just chilling today.
