They don’t play Football very well but they are people and probably fine young men!

Besides everyone of those men you call Garbage are 1000 times better than you ever were!
How do I know? Because if you actually had played and were any good you would have learned somethings!

This is a dumb take. Some folks just know when a program or culture isn't a good fit.
Virginia fits TE wayyyyy more than UT so if he did turn down UT I doubt he's losing sleep.
That said, happy TE got the win today -- dude has had a helluva time as HC with changing the culture and dealing with that horrific end of season tragedy last year.
Pulling for him -- too many folks with sour grapes about a guy that helped us to 2 Natty's.

He never claimed he “turned down” the Tennessee job. He said he withdrew his name, which he did. They are not the same at all. But the juvenile Tennessee AD, to rile up his hick fanbase, posted on Twitter that he didn’t remember offering him the job. It was then immediately twisted that TE claimed to turn it down. That anyone on a Clemson board is playing along with Tennessee’s manipulation of the facts or not offering Tony a little grace after last year’s shooting (not even a year ago) is disgusting and about the worst crap I see on here lately.
