I'm not necessarily one that thinks we should make the NCAA and win a game every year, but we should never be out of the NIT conversation and it would be nice to still have a legit shot at the NCAA at the end of January each year.

comments. I just assume it the strain of knowing the fanbase hates him, when they think about him at all, and that he is a dead man walking. Of course, with the money he has made and will make after he is fired that "strain" should be easy enough to take.
I assume he could continue the status quo for another year if we make the tournament but I'm not sure what it would take to really win the fan base back at this point. Maybe 3/4 years making the tournament and advancing each time? That's not going to happen.

Considering one of those post seasons was cancelled due to covid when we were 16-15....But maybe they were getting ready to make some spectacular run that year? Yeah, I bet so.
Then he wants to point out that only two ACC teams have made it in back to back years? Brad, we're talking about a 12 year tenure here in which you've only made it to the big dance 3 times. We're not even making it to the NIT half of the time.
What a bizarre attitude, it'd be like having a roommate that is a total slob who might clean his own dishes once a month. But when he does he makes sure you know about it. He's got a stool in the shower because it hasn't been cleaned in 6 months, there's pizza boxes in his room from 2020, but if you bring any of this up he goes into a tirade about how he unloaded the dishwasher last weekend so show some appreciation.
