the Coots have lost to the little boys:

1975: App. State (before they moved up)
1982: Furman
1990: The Citadel
2015: The Citadel


In the same period Clemson has never lost to the little boys.

one of those type teams was 1943 (World War II) against Presbyterian. We were probably very depleted by the more urgent war effort.

They lost to Pacific in '81.
