Really good observation by you! Thought they should have whistled the Iowa player for a foul. Shef had him blocked out, but the contact gave the offensive player the advantage.

There is never more on the shot clock than what it shows. It is either exactly 3 or less than 3.

By that explanation, there could be 30.9 seconds on the 30 second clock. That’s also why there is a backcourt violation if the clock hits 20, before ball crosses mid court.

But the clocks were right and the shot left his hand before shot clock hit zero.
