Been a while since I’ve seen our feathered foes so confident about a win vs our Tigers! Hope our boys can bring the same intensity and fight we had yesterday!

As we seem capable of playing down to anyone's level offensively. I got a call from a Gamecock early this morning who hasn't called me since the season started to talk football.
So, yes, they are feeling their oats this week.

games. UF is terrible. Bo Nix is no barn burner but way better than the guy on the field last night. All Auburn had to do after they got up 14 would have been to feed Tank and stay away from bone headed blunders by their coach. Another whoopin coming the coots way.

The truth is four of the teams they beat are terrible while Florida and Auburn have simply plummeted downward to uof6c's level.

Technically we owe them their loss since Trevor and co were screwed out of their W last year. Only fair right? I went to FGF to get an idea on how they’re feeling about Saturday and they’re riding high after the Auburn win. That was some awful coaching. How do you not Kick a FG up 14-0 on 4th down inside your own territory…and not feed Bigsby in that situation?? Head scratcher for sure

Movie plays out. They always follow this type of pattern.
This is what I like to call coot hope. They have it every offseason. It’s never justified, I don’t know why they do it to themselves.
The last team they played with our kind of talent was UGA. Don’t tell them that. They’ll realize it sometime in the first half.

They were hopeful . . . there is a big difference. After our D punched them in the mouth on the first drive, they knew better and “hope” left their hearts.

They are better than they have been and we are worse. The gap has closed some this year. Clemson has proven we are beatable this year. The Coots however are delusional if they think they are on the same level as the teams who have beaten us. The number one team in the country who scored a total of ten points and only three on offense. Pitt has a potential Heisman finalist and the first QB who will be taken in the NFL draft. NC State also has a very good veteran QB, quality skill players and a good Oline.
They point to close wins where we ended the game with a defensive stand to win the game against teams of similar quality to them. The reality is the fact that we won those games is exactly why they are not going to beat us. Unlike some of our teams of the past who would have found a close game an anomaly, this team is used to it and would not be surprised.
I would not go to Vegas and give up 14 points, the Coots have a good shot a covering. Winning is a whole different matter.
When they don’t win this year, our worst year in the CFP Era, they can go back to having little to no hope during game week again.
It is kind of refreshing to get a little smack talk from the #####. That has been lacking in this rivalry for several years.
