To watch. If they are gonna say a finger is a sack, then they shouldn't allow blitzes. QB has 0 time to do anything and most the sacks called could be avoided. The TD throw was gone before a hit, I don't see how a game like this helps anything for the offense. Most major injuries are non contact anyway

Blitzing shouldn't be allowed. You don't want the defenders to get too close to the QB either. Could very easily get blocked into the QB and injure him.

on the part of players more than expecting actual results.
A QB can make a great decision on a play and the result of the play might not reflect it.
I agree with Dabo that college needs to institute either pre-season games or a jamboree. Something to eliminate the whole “split squad” dilemma.
