Democrats are not comfortable with the TYT approach because they realize that the Democrat policies have led to a worsening of America, and that any attempted real arguments of the Democrat good performance won’t pass the laugh test.
The TYTs (they should be called NIPs) are wrong. Continued Democrat success requires strict adherence to censorship of other points of view.

But considering how much you've specifically posted about Elon and censorship (like in your OP of this thread that I'm threadjacking) you might have an opinion on what he's doing with Turkey. I will take your non-answer as an answer if you want as that is often the MO of many on here and I mostly expect it.

At least Musk has the stones to resist the US Govt’s activities to coordinate censorship of those who dissent with Democrat party’s narratives.
Turkey is on the verge of true dictatorship. Cleverly coded language still gives dissenting Turks a means to communicate with each other … which is about as good as if (when … very soon) Turkey becomes an overt dictatorship.
A compromised Twitter platform gives the Turks a better means of communicating with each other than without any Twitter at all.

Turns out pre-Elmo Twitter faced the same issue with Turkey, but chose not to back down. They did get shut down in the country temporarily, but Turkey ended up caving.

Good try, but not quite.
Musk has been successful (thus far) in keeping Twitter from being shut down by those private sector proxies for the Democrat party. The Democrats would love to figure out a way to get the Musk out of Twitter (get it … musky Twitter?), but in so doing would be thumbing their noses at a big player in the green energy initiative. So it’s tricky for the Democrats to ask Amazon to shut off cloud storage services to Twitter.
Thus, your interpretation that “in the US, there is no chance that the Democrats will ever shut down Twitter” is a bit off target.
But again, your’s was a good effort.
Regards.

What actual evidence do you have of this statement:
The Democrats would love to figure out a way to get the Musk out of Twitter (get it … musky Twitter?), but in so doing would be thumbing their noses at a big player in the green energy initiative.

Why make any attempt whatsoever to justify your positions when you can just shut down any opposition?
