“There, but for the grace of God, go I.” - John Bradford adaptation

Heart-rending to hear about DK. Praying he’ll humble himself and take hold of his opportunities in the future.

That’s gotta be a gut-punch for the coaching staff as well.

I'm afraid he has destroyed his future. Dabo won't take him back because he has run out of chances. Good luck to the young man. Needs to learn the consequences of actions.

I believe that if DK entered a treatment program and turned himself around, Dabo would take him back.

I’m sure Dabo’s decision, though difficult, was the right one with respect to the team. The hypothetical “take him back” scenario is probably not the direction the team needs to take, especially after a season of his “issues” through which Dabo has navigated. DK is not the only Clemson football player that needs to be loved well...

DK needs much prayer right now. The last thing he needs is for people to turn their backs on him. He needs to know the Clemson Family is truly a family that loves him and is willing to help him and support him. Based on what his friends do and how his family responds may determine which direction DK will go.

I pray that DK finds the strength to ask for the help that he obviously needs. It appears that he is at a breaking point. From what I have read, he has not hurt anyone else. Just himself. I am concerned with the gun that was in his lap. Why was he sitting in the car like that? I wish that he would go into an inpatient treatment facility. If he can get help, he can still reach all of his goals. He just needs to take care of himself first.

DK needs to acknowledge his problems and seek help. I'm sure our staff and loved ones have attempted to help him numerous times.
Do your part DK and others will do their part and stand by you.
