This 7th straight win over the coots has reminded me that, during & after the coots’ win streak, we “missed out” on guys like Doo Doo Clowney, Jordan Burch, Zacch Pickens, who signed with the coots, & guys like Rashad Gary, Robert N’kemdiche, & Dalvin Cook, who signed elsewhere. Would it have been great to get those guys? Yep. Would we have won more games with them on our roster? Debatable. I think most would agree with me by saying “Their loss.” They’ve gone to schools that didn’t & won’t come close to sniffing a natty (maybe Cook at FSU, but that’s in the past). Meanwhile, we just completed our best decade of football with 2 natties & are still recruiting at a high level!
If a guy like Keon Sabb wants to go elsewhere, it’d be his loss, because Clemson is built to last & will be competing for national titles for years to come (provided that DJ isn’t our QB or he miraculously improves). Go Tigers!
