To their personal home off main st which was an exact replica of the Clemson mansion they resided in on campus for years.

Showed us every room & closet..plus Dr Edwards told me in his Den, while having refreshments, how he'd saved Death Valley from being flooded over forever by pushing Fed & State GOV to build dykes in Lake Hartwell..and that water line would have come up halfway the hill below Calhoun Mansion!

No couple were finer or for Clemson 110% than Moonpie (she insisted to be called that) & President RC!

Check out his resume..Architect ? & later President of Millikin & Co. in early days and selected as President of CU due to contacts & ability to raise money..

Pretty much as why our great new President from WVU was..ability to attract funding.
