Is Dabo losing it?

I mean, discounting the Covid year, the last time we won a NC was 2 years ago. The game can change a lot in 2 years. Sure it used to be about blocking, catching and running, but what about the “modern game?” Dabo’s getting up there in years and maybe all the changes are just too much for him to keep up with.
Senility can come on very quickly. I mean, look how dumb Ed Orgeron is now, and he was a genius just a year ago.

It’s way to early to say he’s lost it, but he’s certainly gotten complacent. It seems like the only qualifications needed to get hired at Clemson is to be a former player. Dabo’s family culture attitude has come back to bite him a bit.
Don’t even get me started on the scholarships we’ve wasted on coach’s sons who wouldn’t even start at Furman.
I believe Dabo will fix it in the off-season. I know this is a sarcastic post, but we do have some issues that need to be resolved.

I hope Dabo has more sons to to whom to give scholarships. How many coaches that have not given scholarships to their foootball playing sons have won 2 national championships and 6 consecutive conference championships. I do not recall Will ever mishandling a snap on a field goal or extra point try. That is deserving of a scholarship in itself.

According to Clemson 247, Dabo's sons are not on scholarship, although both Jake and Tyler Venables are. Still, he has had them on the team, so I get your point.

2 scholarships is a cheap price to pay to keep Coach V at Clemson. Dabo will have to makes changes with the offensive (very offensive) coaches at the end of the season or it will be more of the same next year. Former players and buddies aren’t cutting it with either coaching or player development.
