suggests that he (and/or his family) had perfectly legitimate doubts as to whether he should play under these circumstances. It’s a tough choice: sacrifice a season in a comparatively short career, or potentially sacrifice your life...or your health, over the long term (because for some patients COVID has lasting long-term effects, like heart damage). And don’t kid yourself: COVID has killed young, athletic people. I don’t envy Vic, having to make that decision.

10 days earlier would have saved him 1/2 a Million dollars... It's his. He can do it however he pleases.
